Introducing Bill Karageozis

BillKarageozisBill Karageozis is a partner at McLeod & Partners who combines his vast experience in insolvency services with his astute legal mind to ensure the best outcomes for all stakeholders involved. With over 12 years insolvency involvement and extensive experience in liquidations (voluntary and involuntary), administrations and bankruptcies, Bill forms a key pillar in daily operations at the firm.

Having completed his Business and Law degrees at Queensland University of Technology, Bill commenced work with McLeod & Partners during the early years of the company. Since then, he has accumulated a diverse portfolio spanning multiple areas including: building and construction, retail and property, mining, telecommunications and manufacturing.

Personally, he has successfully assisted in the trade on of a multimillion dollar national cargo airline and in the settlement of millions of dollars of voidable transactions against directors, creditors and other stakeholders. On top of these impressive professional achievements, Bill has also been recognised for his high academic achievements.  Upon completing his Insolvency Education Program, Bill graduated fourth nationally.

Bill also uses his specialist knowledge in commercial legal procedure to help analyze and investigate the performance of companies and individuals. An admitted solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland, Bill has worked in both small and large law firms around Australia. This crucial skill was noted by a prominent colleague in the legal industry:

Born and raised in Brisbane, Bill is now beginning his family here too. With a three year old son to keep him busy, Bill still tries to find time for other activities he enjoys. A keen fan of soccer, his active lifestyle is combined with his love of the game played both indoor and outdoor. On top of which, he still manages to find time for extensive domestic and international travel and maintaining his fluent knowledge of the Greek language.
